RSCreativ is a web development studio providing all-in-one Shopify solutions for businesses looking to make huge strides with their online storefronts and marketing. The team came to us looking for a branding solution that authentically captured their unique all-in-one approach to online e-commerce while giving them a distinct and memorable visual impact. Our solution pairs modernist design style with personality-filled typography, bright coloured illustration, and urban texture to create a unique brand kit in the e-commerce space.

To mirror the unique approach that RSCreativ has for its clients, we wanted to create a wordmark that felt unique and full of character while also being professional and classy. By blending the refined sophistication of a traditional serif with the symmetry of a more modern geometric sans, we landed on a distinct and memorable wordmark.

We wanted a visual cue to pulling multiple elements into focus. We call it the Aperture. A symbol inspired by a camera aperture that shows various pieces being pulled towards one uniform “focus point.”

To showcase RSC’s diverse creative solutions, the brand explodes with colour as clients interact with it deeper. Giving a really fun and creatively invigorating visual language for the brand to work with.

We designed a suite of contextual alternates in various aspect ratios for maximum flexibility to ensure that the Aperture and typography always look their best.
